Adoptive Parent searching for Ethiopian family of Ettu / Efetu, girl, born in 2011. She was found in Badessa, West Hararghe zone, Oromia Region by an individual named Worknesh. Additional information Abandonment listed on paperwork, We met finders/social worker in Badessa where she was said to be found. She may have stayed a few days at Bethzata Orphanage. Orphanage worker and finders shared that she was very ill (photos demonstrate she was extremely malnourished). Worker said she went to hospital in Asebe Tefari/Chiro and then she was sent to IAG Care Center in Addis Ababa with many other infant children in September 2011. Her birthday may be anywhere from May – July 2011 (date guesstimated and given to us was July 28, 2011.

Details of child(ren)’s abandonment Found in Badessa, finder was Worknesh and a gentleman and his wife (he works for family center in town) took her in for a few days before connecting with the orphanage. She was found in a crossroads, beside or perhaps in a ravine in a highly trafficed area near her finder’s house. Her finder actually said that other women found child and brought to her.
