Her father was visiting Ethiopia and he had a short relationship with Yewubdar. When he went to America with the DV, Yewubdar was about 2 months pregnant. Endale later learned that Yewubdar gave Veronica for adoption. She was highly pressured to give the child for adoption because of economic reasons. People were telling her it would be better for the child. Yewubdar was sick with grief after the adoption. She received one report and nothing more.
Endale is now living in the USA with his family. He has three children, all girls. One is age 7 and there are twins age 5. Endale speaks English perfectly and has a good life in America. He simply wants to know that Veronica has a good life, and he wants to share with her about her family history. He has worried about her all these years. Endale is not in contact with Yewubdar because the phone number he had is not working. He continues to try to reach her.
