Ethiopian family searching for Derartu adopted to Spain in 2007 at age 5. Her aunt Nurea was taking care of her due to her mothers severe illness. The family is from Harar but Nurea took Derartu to Addis to process the adoption. The orphanage was likely Fenot Lewogen / Finote Lewogen. Derartu is originally from Babile, Harar. This family desperately wants to know that the child is well and safe.
