Details of child(ren)’s abandonment Neima was found in front of a khat farmer’s gate at aprox 6am on June 25, 2012. The couple who found her are named Miski M. I. (wife) and Hussen (husband). Another baby was also found by this family together with Neima, the same estimated age as Neima. The family took the babies to the police where they were sent to Biftu orphanage. Two investigations have been done and the finding family is not aware of any birth family. A DNA test was done and Neima is not biologically related to the child who she was found with.
