Additional information Our daughter was born in Adama according to the birth certificate, but other information indicates she was born in Addis Ababa. We were told the 1 year old baby was left at an orphanage 2 hours outside of Addis, and then was brought to the orphanage in Addis where we adopted her at 18 months old. She initially suffered from malnutrition, and had a birthmark on her buttocks.
