Additional information that could be useful in making a match My name is Yared and I live in France. I was born in Tigray and I was adopted by a French family in 2002 at 6 years, but I think I was older than that. I am now looking for my biological family. Before I was adopted, I had lived with my parents, three older sisters, a little brother and a newborn sister. Afterwards, my father, my little brother and I left to Addis Ababa where I was abandoned. Therefore, I lived in the streets of Addis Ababa without my family for a year or two. A couple of women found me in the district of Kirkos and brought me to the sisters of the Missionaries of Charity.

I do not know the name of the city where I was born nor where my family lived or is living at the moment. The only thing I know is that it is in the Tigray region. I do not remember the names of my mother, my sisters and my brother. However, I know my father’s name, which is Tsehaye. Yared’s not my birth name. It is just something people started calling me when I was living in the street. I am not sure, but I think my birth name is Tafari. The drawing represents what my city of birth looked like back then. According to my recollection, I am not entirely sure about the mosque. It might have been a church. I know I have not provided a lot of information to work with, but I would at least like to find the name of this city.
